10GBASE-T SFP+ RJ45 Copper Module 30m, HPE Aruba Compatible
An SFP+ module with an RJ45 socket, turning a fibre port on a switch into a copper port for 10 Gigabit (and 1 Gigabit or 2.5/5G where supported) over standard network cable up to 30m.
Each module is coded to be recognised by HPE and Aruba switches, so it works like the original brand part at a fraction of the cost. It is hot swappable and supports digital diagnostics (DDM) where the switch does.
Use Cat6A cable for 10 Gigabit links.
10GBASE-T modules run warm; leave a free port beside them where possible.
