0.5m OM4 LC to SC Fibre Optic Cable Multimode 50/125 Aqua
OM4 is high-bandwidth laser-optimised 50/125 multimode fibre, carrying 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 400m and 40/100 Gigabit up to 150m, the usual choice for new data centre and server room cabling.
This duplex lead has two fibres, one to send and one to receive, so it connects a pair of ports in one go. LC connectors are small push-and-click plugs used on SFP and SFP+ transceivers, switches and high-density patch panels, while sC connectors are square push-pull plugs common on patch panels, media converters and older switches. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket suits offices, data centres and public buildings.
At 0.5m it suits patching between switches and panels in the same rack. Multimode and single mode fibre must not be mixed, so match the grade to your existing cabling and transceivers.
