The HDMI to VGA dongle adapter converts a HDMI signal into a VGA signal plus 3.5mm for audio. HDMI type A male to VGA HD15 female plus 3.5mm female socket. The dongle also features a DC power socket to apply 5 volts external power although this is not normally required as the dongle is powered via HDMI.
